Not all cinnamon is the same
There's more than one type of cinnamon in the market, but the real difference isn't just "taste" or "shape".. the difference is in the chemical structure itself.
Ceylon Cinnamon is considered scientifically the closest to what is called "true cinnamon," and it stands out with a gentler, finer composition compared to the common cinnamon (Cassia). The most important point here is its greatly reduced coumarin content, the substance that, when it's high in the other type, may not be suitable for daily consumption in large amounts.
From a smarter angle: Ceylon cinnamon is a "clean" version of the same idea.. almost the same aromatic plant, but with a lighter, more natural effect on the body.
Why does Ceylon cinnamon stand out?
Because it balances effectiveness and safety in daily use, and it contains a finer concentration of the volatile oils that give it its distinctive flavour. It doesn't overpower drinks or food, but blends with them quietly, and it's a smart choice for anyone who wants to add a "benefit" without exaggeration or heaviness.
From a nutritional side, it's seen as a helping element in supporting blood sugar balance and improving the metabolic response, in addition to its role in supporting digestion and reducing the feeling of heaviness after eating.
